Packing, Protection and Preservation

Rest assured, we pack everything with the utmost care and attention to ensure our products reach you in the optimum condition possible.  All fresh meat orders are chilled before being securely packaged with ultra-efficient biodegradable insulation. To ensure everything is kept cool until you receive it, biodegradable frozen gel packs are placed inside at the time of despatch. This level of preservation is expensive though necessary for your reassurance and peace of mind. We are committed to keeping costs to the customer to a minimum, hence we off-set the full cost of delivery with a contribution from ourselves - we hope you enjoy our real-food!

Delivery Costs

  • Standard UK Mainland - Under £20 = £9.95

  • £20 - £29.99 = £8.95

  • £30 - £39.99 = £7.95

  • 40 - £49.99 = £6.95

  • Over £50 = FREE

Please note:

During the Covid-19 pandemic we will require you to keep a 2m safe distance and collect your order from an insulated collection box adjacent to our front entrance. 

The order deadline for same week delivery


Please order by 12 Noon on Tuesday of each week to receive your order on Friday


Orders received after these deadlines will be carried over to the following week.

Leaving your order somewhere safe

If you're unlikely to be in when your order is being delivered, you can leave your instructions in the Comments Box when you place your order.

Cancellation & Returns

Sourcing high provenance meat isn't easy, particularly as everything is made fresh to order and nothing is frozen.

For this reason, we can only accept cancellations up and until 12 noon on Monday.


Due to the impracticable nature of returning perishable items we cannot offer refunds or return. In the unlikely event you consider your purchased product to be unsatisfactory please do the following:

  • Email us immediately providing as much detail as possible.

  • Include at least one photograph of the item(s) concerned. 

  • Preserve the product in its original packaging according to the storage details on the label.
