1 cup alfalfa seeds (or other sprouting seed)
Place the alfalfa seeds into a glass jar. Add enough water so that they are completely covered. Cover the lid tightly and leave them somewhere warm and dark for 7 days. The longer you leave them the more nutrients and vitamins will be produced. Rinse off any excess dirt from the sprouts using a strainer. Use within 2 weeks of rinsing.
