The Merguez is a delicious North African spicy hot sausage that is popular throughout the Middle East, Algeria, Tunisia and French cuisine. Our traditional recipe has the perfect ratio of Lamb, Beef, pure Himalayan salts and toasted organic spices all stuffed into traditional lamb casings.
The recipe has quite a kick and is delicious served with a tomato sauce, pitta bread or wraps or with salad and a simple yoghurt dip.
It's equally good with mash and a lamb gravy, and topped with mint sauce - spoken like a true Yorkshire man!!
These would be a great addition to any Christmas food list - for an easy and delicious Christmas Eve meal or boxing day supper. These will freeze for up to three months too and would be great to buy and store in the freezer in case of any last minute unexpected visitors -
