Why Microgreens?
Microgreens are known as Biogenic living food. In simple terms, they are tiny baby plants edible from between 7 to 10 days old once they produce their first leaf. We source our micro-greens locally and are delighted to be able to make them available to more and more customers.
What do Microgreens offer in terms of nutritional value?
Microgreens are a highly concentrated source of nutrition with some microgreens being up to 40 times more nutrient-dense than the parent plant. All that goodness and plant power! Microgreens are full of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and plant compounds - food our bodies love especially for beneficial gut bacteria.
