Yorkshire sausage: New Healthy Recipe
Handmade in Ilkley - the official home of Yorkshires county sausage. Yorkshire sausages were created initially as a traditional pork sausage by a local butcher. Though not to deviate too far from the original recipes, we thought there was room for improvement. Particularly regarding nutritional values and anti-nutrients, we also wanted to bring out more flavour to compliment our two favourite meals, sausage and mash and a full English breakfast.
It was given then that our Great Yorkshire sausage needed a break from the traditional - it had to have our signature high welfare free-range Yorkshire pork, generous helpings of cracked black pepper, heaps of fresh parsley.
The result, a terrific gluten-free breakfast-style sausage with lovely touches of fresh peppery heat, complimented perfectly by the crisp and cooling effect of parsley. It's a spikey heat not spicy, think of a similar warmth you might get from a delicious savoury breakfast sausage.

- Full English breakfast with Yorkshire sausage and Primal Bacon, (2 eggs, mushrooms, plum tomatoes and two slices of keto bread (toasted)) - Delicious.
- Toad in the Hole - Yorkshire sausages snuggled in a giant Yorkshire pudding, with lashings of rich onion gravy and a generous dollop of mash! Only to be bettered eaten on Saturday 1st August (Whitby) for Yorkshire Day itself!
